About the role TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate for this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes. About You You will love this position if you : Would love to share your knowledge and skills with future generations Thrive when working as part of a collaborative team and working with a diverse range of learners Have a creative flair that you would enjoy expressing through teaching To be successful in this role you will have : A recognised Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with an LLND focus OR A recognised postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in LLND OR A Qualification at AQF5 (or above) + TAELLN skillset (TAESS00026 or predecessor) From an accredited Australian Higher Education Institution, or a qualification recognised as equivalent to the stated AQF level or higher by the Australian Government Country Education Profiles (CEPs) tool Minimum of one-year post‑qualification experience in teaching Please note this is below the requirements of the Teacher PD as industry experience is less important than teaching experience Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer / assessor competence.
