About this opportunity As the People Operations Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the People Experience Pillar by delivering a consistent and engaging employee experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle. This generalist role requires someone with a strong foundation in HR practices and the ability to work proactively across a broad range of responsibilities, from onboarding and compliance to employee engagement. Based in our Heatherton office, you’ll join a collaborative and values-driven team where your HR expertise will make a meaningful impact. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll also contribute to shaping organisational initiatives and supporting strategic priorities, even though this role does not initially include direct reports. Manage employment documentation and compliance, including audits, wage reviews, and accurate record-keeping. Oversee the full employee lifecycle – from onboarding and development to performance, engagement, and retention. Drive team engagement and wellbeing through WHS coordination, return-to-work support, and impactful quarterly events. Contribute as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic input and supporting organisational goals. Effectively leading direct reports as part of day to day operations About you Formal HR qualifications with 5+ years’ experience in a generalist role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict effectively. Experience in leading and managing direct reports. A customer-focused approach, ensuring high-quality support to all stakeholders. Confident with systems, with accurate data entry and solid computer skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other leaders to shape and deliver organisational priorities. About us Dovida is a national provider of high-quality, person-centred home care.
