We’re your guides to life’s culinary pleasures, embracing “the good things in life.” Your Assignment | As the Department Purchasing Manager, you will; Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier relationships across all categories. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and inventory management, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks. Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation. Oversee procurement processes and systems, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your Attributes & Abilities | Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals and market dynamics. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contracting skills, with the ability to drive favourable terms and conditions while building and maintaining positive supplier relationships. Leadership: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve objectives and drive results. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
