Requirements for this role: Flexible hours available 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role Job Description As a Crew Member, you play a key role in ensuring our customers receive hot, fresh, and delicious meals while delivering excellent customer service. You are responsible for preparing food, operating kitchen equipment, and serving customers with a positive attitude. You will adhere to all safety and hygiene standards while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Excellence Welcome customers warmly, take accurate orders, and handle transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system. Ensure orders are fulfilled quickly and correctly, while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour. Handle customer inquiries and concerns with a positive attitude, resolving issues or escalating them to the supervisor when necessary. Assist with packing and presenting orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Promote menu items, suggest add-ons, and upsell products to enhance the customer experience. Food Preparation & Cooking Prepare high-quality menu items following specific recipes and presentation standards. Cook food items fryers, toasters, and other kitchen equipment, ensuring proper food safety and quality at all times. Monitor food and ingredient stock levels, promptly reporting any shortages to the shift manager to avoid delays. Follow food safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices. Restaurant Cleanliness & Hygiene Ensure all workstations, dining areas, and kitchen areas are clean, organised, and well‑stocked throughout your shift. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing equipment, and cleaning restrooms. Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling protocols, keeping all areas compliant with health and safety standards. Participate in end‑of‑shift cleaning duties, ensuring the restaurant is ready for the next shift. Team Collaboration & Communication Work closely with your fellow crew members, shift leaders and managers to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak periods. Assist with restocking inventory, including napkins, utensils, and other supplies, to ensure seamless service. Communicate any issues or concerns to management, including equipment malfunctions or food safety hazards, for prompt resolution. Safety & Compliance Follow all health, safety, and food handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for yourself, your team, and customers. Adhere to personal hygiene standards, including wearing clean uniforms and proper protective gear such as gloves and hat/hairnets.
