For more information, please go to our website The role We are seeking an experienced Signwriter to join our Melbourne team. To be successful in this position you will need a creative flair and an eye for detail and strong visual and special awareness. You will have demonstrated organisation skills, experience in design, layout and colour, ability to follow and interpret instructions, carry out measurements and calculations and a positive attitude with strong work ethics. Minimum 2-3 years of signwriting experience is required for this position. Duties and responsibilities Print, mount, trim and finish various digital graphics and signage Design and create signs by measuring and calculating letter size, preparing the surface, applying background point using brushes, sprays and rollers, and creating the letters using brushes, stencils, enamel paint and decals Design and create signs and graphics using computer software such as Flexi Sign and Adobe Illustrator. May install signs on-site Requirements Ability to build, design and install signs according to instruction set by the Production Management team. General knowledge of signage industry fabrication techniques. Ability to plan and organise work according the brief from concept to completion. Good knowledge of colour and paint for signage. Experience in fabrication, vinyl signage, vinyl cutting, weeding and application. Ability to apply fasteners and fixtures.
