Fire Inspection Assistant

Job Details Our client is looking for a Fire Inspection Assistant to join their team in Tweed Heads. Base Rate $40 p/h + penalties. Immediate start. Location: Tweed Heads. About the Client Our client is a well‑established leading provider of fire protection services in Australia and has been helping to protect people and property for over 135 years. What You Will Be Doing Work Monday to Friday starting at 7 am, working 9‑10 hour days. Accompany Wormald fire technicians during passive fire inspections throughout the hospital. Assist in examining penetrations, fire‑rated barriers, and fire‑stopping materials to ensure compliance. Photograph and record inspection findings using an iPad or tablet. Accurately track locations, penetration types, defects, and remediation needs. Use Wormald's digital compliance system (training provided) to log inspection data in real time. Regularly climb ladders and access various parts of the building. Upload photos, notes, and compliance outcomes for each inspected penetration. Ensure all records are accurate, thorough, and correctly categorised. What You Will Need Experience in fire inspections or related field. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina for climbing ladders and working in various environments.
