About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can act as the vital link between business stakeholders, development and testing teams — ensuring requirements are clearly defined and high‑quality solutions are delivered. This role blends business analysis expertise with Scrum Master responsibilities, supporting both BAU and project initiatives to achieve successful business outcomes. Key accountabilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows for development teams. Facilitate workshops, interviews and process‑mapping sessions to capture detailed requirements. Support Business Owners in backlog prioritisation and grooming. Assist in test case development and provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Identify gaps, risks and opportunities for business process improvement. Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. Coach team members in Agile principles and Scrum practices to enhance delivery maturity. Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth sprint execution. Act as a servant leader, maintaining team focus on sprint goals. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and high performance. Skills and experience required Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline. 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the Financial Services industry. Proven success managing complex business requirements, cross‑functional projects, data integration initiatives, business process improvements and technology‑driven transformations. Experience supporting business case development (including financial analysis) and change impact assessments. Strong stakeholder management, including engagement with senior and remote stakeholders. Excellent planning, facilitation and communication skills (both written and verbal). Advanced analytical and critical thinking capabilities, including root cause, gap and impact analysis. Experience in requirements elicitation, negotiation and documentation (Requirements, Use Cases, User Stories). Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) with hands‑on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies. Coaching and mentoring abilities to guide teams through Agile adoption.
