Visual Merchandise

The Role

Reporting into the Northern Visual Merchandising Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high standards of visual merchandising, styling and window display across our network of NSW boutiques, concessions and edit stores. The Visual Merchandising Lead will also provide training and support our NSW Field Visual Merchandisers and Retail teams to achieve excellence in visual merchandising.

Key ResponsibilitiesDrive an exceptional customer experience wherever the customer chooses to shop, through inspirational visual experiencesPlan all floor moves in conjunction with the relevant manager to maximise sale opportunities as well as maintaining brand standardsStrategically partner with Retail leaders to drive best in class visual merchandising direction and consistency in executionBuild relationships with key personnel in Myer and David Jones and provide training on visual merchandising and Mimco standards where appropriateEnsure that the commercial and visual needs of the business are balanced when implementing merchandising or displaysEnsure merchandising decisions are related to business results at all times, with a focus on merchandising for profitActively participate in new store set-ups and refurbishments (where required) and collaborate with key stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate will haveMinimum 3 years’ experience within a comparable Visual Merchandising roleExperience in the Retail industry, with a creative merchandising ability and a passion for all things accessoriesPositive attitude and be a proactive team playerStrong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to build strong relationships with all stakeholdersAbility to analyse the business and take appropriate actionDriver’s licence and car to travel between a network of stores.
