We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Planner with a focus on pedestrian movement, to join our Sydney based Transport Planning team. With an exciting and innovative pipeline of work, you will help lead the delivery of projects as well as shape our team capability and depth. The Opportunity This is a high-impact role that encompasses client engagement, work winning, project delivery, technical excellence, leadership, and team building. You will provide focus, continuity, and technical guidance across projects for busy, pedestrian-centric buildings and infrastructure, including stations, stadiums and venues, cultural buildings, airports and terminals, commercial towers, and event crowd management for public and private clients across Australia and New Zealand. Success in this role will come from being an enthusiastic collaborator with a passion for transport, supported by strong technical knowledge and proven experience in project management (leadership and commercial), developing client partnerships, a deep understanding of pedestrian planning methods, and solid experience with pedestrian simulation software tools. As a Senior Pedestrian Planner, you will Lead and contribute to the development of pedestrian planning projects across the built environment—small and large—from precincts to transport infrastructure of regional significance. Strengthen your technical capabilities as part of high-performing, multidisciplinary teams delivering planning advice, design guidance, and detailed pedestrian planning assessments. Deliver evidence-based planning and design advice that is robust, validated, and easy to communicate. Help identify new business opportunities and proactively stay ahead of industry trends, engaging with our global leaders in your technical areas of interest. Prepare compelling, competitive, and innovative proposals for projects ranging from small assignments to major programs of work.
