Your Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of disability support workers, providing high-intensity support to clients. Performance Management: Ensure the overall performance of the service aligns with annual work plans and meets established targets. Person-Directed Support: Promote person-directed support and community participation that exceeds minimum disability standards, all within available resources. Operational Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services, surpassing identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Support Excellence: Provide high-quality support to customers and their families, offering management support to care staff. Please note that this role includes a component of rostered after-hours on-call duty. About You To be successful in this role you'll share Yooralla's Values and have: Management Experience: Demonstrated management experience, preferably within a community services environment. Sector Knowledge: Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector. Person-Centred Approach: Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff in implementing contemporary and person-centred approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment. Initiative and Organization: Excellent initiative, self-directed work practices, and highly developed organizational skills.
