Field Service Technician – IT Service Management Join Catholic Healthcare as a Field Service Technician – IT Service Management. This full‑time permanent role is based in Macquarie Park with travel throughout Sydney Metro & Regional NSW. Annual leave: base 7 additional days + Fitness Passport Salary: $76,550 – $85,000 base + super + NFP packaging benefits Role Overview We are seeking a qualified technician with strong technical proficiency, interpersonal skills, and communication skills to support both on‑site and remote operations in our Residential Aged Care facilities across Sydney Metropolitan and Regional NSW. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and project support remotely and on‑site. Build, configure, and deploy new hardware and UI applications on site. Travel to sites for deployment and testing within education and go‑live timeframes. Provide informal training to end‑users on new Android‑based technologies replacing end‑of‑life equipment and services. Respond to incidents and requests using the CHL IT Service Management system, recording progress and resolution. Follow‑up and implement post‑implementation support and other technology tasks. Liaise with internal stakeholders on site, including Residential Managers, Front‑line staff, and maintenance teams. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of Aged Care IT team experience, with service desk level 2 or higher. Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with knowledge of IT hardware, software, and communication technologies, particularly Android OS. Current NSW driver’s licence and own vehicle; km reimbursement for travel. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Microsoft 365 is desirable. ITIL v4 Foundation certificate is desirable. Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary. Willingness to obtain a Police report and NDISWC. Desired Education and Skills Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) or higher. Programming/Scripting languages: C, C++, Python, PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, HTML. Experience with Mitel, PowerBi, Blanco, and other related systems. Strong competency with IT hardware, software, and communication technologies, particularly Android OS. Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting non‑technical users in a calm, personable, and professional manner. Benefits Not‑for‑profit tax benefits.
