Murrumbeena Football Netball Club – Murrumbeena VIC Role Overview The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for creating and executing fundraising initiatives that support the financial goals of our club. Reporting to the Treasurer, this person works closely with various club members and the community to develop, plan, promote, and implement diverse fundraising events and campaigns. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about grassroots sports, connecting with the community, and contributing to a club's long‑term success. Most of the work can be completed remotely, but on‑site presence is required for meetings and in‑person fundraising events. Time required During the season and major events it may be 4‑6 hours per week. During the off‑season it may be 0‑1 hour per week. Key Responsibilities Developing Fundraising Strategies : Identify and create innovative fundraising opportunities tailored to the club’s financial needs and community appeal, including events, raffles, game‑day initiatives, and online campaigns. Executing Fundraising Initiatives : Liaise with club members to ensure activities are well supported with volunteers and resources, and oversee all initiatives with committee and treasurer support. Engaging the Community and Members : Foster participation by promoting events and encouraging community involvement using social media, newsletters, and other communication channels. About You Excellent communication and organisation skills Experience in fundraising, event planning, or sales Ability to engage with community members and foster relationships Creativity in planning and executing unique, attractive events and campaigns Familiarity with budgeting and basic financial reporting About Us At Murrumbeena Football Netball Club (MFNC), we are more than a sporting organisation—we are a proud and inclusive community hub.
