Software Engineer & Software Tester Towline Software Pty Ltd – Melbourne (Keilor Park), VIC Full-time: $85,000 to $100,000 + Superannuation About the Company Towline Software Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned technology services provider based in Victoria, specialising in software development, and IT consultancy. We are expanding our technical team and are seeking talented Software Engineers and Software Testers to join our growing projects across Australia. Software Engineer Responsibilities Analyse user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform code reviews, debugging, and software optimization. Participate in the technical design and development of our websites, web apps, backend APIs and other backend services. Build new applications as well as improving upon existing ones. Work closely with the product, marketing, and engineering teams to define, refine, test, and deliver new solutions. Collaborate with testers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software on schedule. Integrate APIs and ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile / Scrum, and version-control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) desirable. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 + super Location: Melbourne (Keilor Park), Victoria Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week) Software Tester / Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibilities Review software specifications and design detailed test plans and test cases. Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and functionality. Identify, log, and track bugs through issue-tracking systems such as JIRA. Perform regression, performance, and UAT testing. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to improve product reliability. Document test results and contribute to continuous quality-improvement initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in software testing or QA. Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, and TestRail. Strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies and defect-management tools.
