We know our customers love a treasure hunt, so we ensure our shops are always full of variety, fun pieces, and vibrant displays You’ll be contributing to rescuing pre-loved clothing from landfills You’ll be helping Red Cross raise vital funds to support vulnerable people across Australia Be part of a team and feel valued for your time Training and development opportunities Generous discount on all your purchases Typical day in a Shop In your 4-hour shift (or more if you like) you’ll be doing a variety of tasks like: Welcoming and engaging customers Processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and eftpos payments Sorting and pricing donations Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers Keeping the shop clean and tidy Following all shop processes Skills needed Friendly and positive attitude Sociable and engaging with others Happy to work as part of a team Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks Commitment to your nominated shift Application process No need to upload a resume – just tell us why you’re interested in the role We’ll then have a friendly interview in store and ask you a few questions and you can ask us questions too You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – You must be 16) Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross) You will also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program Apply now Apply Now and let’s get you started on a rewarding volunteer journey in one of our Red Cross Shops.
