Job Description Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Hydraulic Diesel Fitter to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the HME Maintenance team and reporting directly to the Hydraulic Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Scheduled and breakdown maintenance of all heavy mobile and ancillary equipment including 600t class Excavators and Blast Drill machines (CAT, Liebherr & Sandvik) Use your trade experience to perform maintenance activities in a team environment whilst ensuring safety and production targets are met efficiently Ensure all work is performed to trade standards, following the plan and specifications, and meets desired availability targets Maintaining our onsite maintenance systems and ensuring the integrity of recorded data is compliant Liaise with key personnel and share ideas for overall improvement outcomes Identify, assess and control workplace hazards About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant Trade Qualification as a Hydraulic Diesel Fitter (Min 3 Years in a Heavy Field Environment) Previous experience in a similar role, in an open‑cut coal mine Excellent safety mindset with the ability to positively influence the culture at Rolleston Proven problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment Desirable skills – Air Conditioning, Forklift, Medium/Heavy rigid licence, Non‑slew Crane, previous experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
