AO5 Senior Contract Administrator/Superintendents Representative - Major Projects Location: Rockhampton Type: Full-time, temporary QLD Government Contract ASAP Start for an initial 3-month contract with highly likely rolling contract extensions Make an impact on Queensland's infrastructure Join a dynamic team delivering major and complex construction and engineering projects. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in contract administration and project supervision while contributing to high-profile initiatives that shape our communities. About the Role As a Contract Administrator/Superintendent Representative, you will provide operational contract supervisory services across major construction projects. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Coordinating site meetings and maintaining accurate records. Issuing variation orders, assessing contractual claims, and processing contractor requests. Supporting dispute resolution processes and providing high-level advice to project leaders. Implementing contract administration policies and post-contract performance evaluations. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and quality assurance procedures. Communicating effectively with clients and project teams on cost, time, and quality matters. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of construction contract administration (traditional and non-traditional contracts) Government experience is highly desirable. Ability to interpret and apply contractual obligations honestly and fairly. Experience in supervising major projects and managing variations and claims (highly desirable) Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Commitment to workplace health and safety and equity principles.
