Senior Allied Health Assistant

Permanent full time opportunity contributing to client care through the provision of high level and complex clinical support tasks within the multidisciplinary Hospital In The Home (HITH) team under the direction and supervision of allied health professionals. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Provide a defined range of specialised clinical screening assessments for clients with complex needs, as delegated by a Health Practitioner and compliant with professional practice standards. Provide a defined range of treatments for patients/clients with variable conditions, including using decision support tools, clinical pathways and patient guidelines. Identify potential changes needed in treatment programs using results from standardised assessment tools and gain endorsement to make these changes following discussion with the supervising Allied Health Professional Provide comprehensive education to patients or groups of patients within defined topic areas.
