Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Workshop Foreman to join our Darwin branch. As the Workshop Foreman, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop, handling the servicing and maintenance of our extensive earthmoving equipment. Your responsibilities will include team management, mechanical diagnosis and repairs, equipment dispatch, stock takes, and client coordination. Key Responsibilities Team management and supervision of workshop staff Mechanical diagnosis and repair of heavy‑duty plant equipment Routine and preventive maintenance of machinery Coordinating equipment dispatch and client communications Conducting stock checks and ensuring inventory accuracy Qualifications and Experience Trade qualification in Heavy Duty Plant Mechanics (Essential) Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Plant Mechanic Experience managing a team Solid knowledge of heavy‑duty equipment and their systems Competence in routine maintenance procedures Driver’s licence (HR preferred); forklift/high‑risk work licences desirable Hands‑on approach with sound computer skills Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment Ability to pass a medical and a drug & alcohol test What We Offer Ongoing training and support A great working environment with a fun and friendly team Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Equal Opportunity Brooks Hire is an equal opportunity employer that celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. #J-18808-Ljbffr
