BYD is one of Australia’s fastest-growing EV and Plug-in Hybrid brands, With new models like the ATTO 1, Sealion 5 & 8 arriving soon and further exciting releases planned for 2026, we are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Consultants to join our team and help build the BYD brand locally. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships and thrives in a performance-driven environment and wants a career in the Automotive Industry. Don't have any experience in the Automotive Industry? About the role As a BYD Sales Consultant & Customer Service Expert, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery and beyond. You will play a key role in driving sales performance, maintaining strong lead management, and representing the BYD brand with professionalism and confidence. Key responsibilities include: Managing the end-to-end vehicle sales process Delivering professional product and technology demonstrations Conducting test drives and tailored customer solutions Lead follow-up and pipeline management Working closely with your Manager & Finance Business manager Maintaining accurate customer data and CRM activity Delivering high standards of customer satisfaction About you You are passionate about customer service, confident in your communication style, and motivated to achieve targets. Automotive experience is valued but not essential for the right candidate with a strong sale or customer service background. You will ideally have: Previous sales experience (automotive preferred but not essential) Proven customer service experience (essential) A positive, professional and driven attitude High attention to detail and follow-through Confidence using technology, CRM systems and digital tools Apple and general computer proficiency What we offer Strong earning potential and incentive structure Ongoing training and development Supportive, high-performance team culture 2 Saturdays off per month About us Curtis Coast Automotive is home to Gladstone BYD, Nissan, Hyundai, KGM, Mahindra, and Curtis Coast Automotive Used Cars.
