About the Role: We are seeking an Administration Assistant to support our rapidly expanding operations. In this pivotal role, you'll provide essential administrative support to help deliver biodiversity-rich environmental plantings, contributing to meaningful carbon sequestration projects across WA. This is a casual role with flexible hours, and the successful candidate will work closely with the Business Support and Finance Officer, assisting with a variety of tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: General bookkeeping tasks, including invoice processing and credit card reconciliations. Collecting, scanning, photocopying, and filing documents. Monitoring and responding to emails and maintaining the filing system. Updating subcontractor databases and reviewing accounting reports. Booking accommodation and travel for team members. Coordinating new starter setup and greeting office visitors. Reception duties, including answering phone calls and greeting clients. Assisting with the printing of promotional materials. Organising meetings and events, including arranging catering. Maintaining office supplies, cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards. Key Requirements: Previous experience in an administrative support role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Xero is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A proactive attitude, with strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Polite and professional phone manner. A valid driver's license. Desirable Skills: Experience working in cross-cultural environments, particularly with Aboriginal or other Indigenous communities. Strong written and oral communication skills and experience preparing reports using Microsoft Office programs. Why Join Us?
