This is a unique opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading project delivery teams, working on nationally significant Defence and Government infrastructure projects. Based in either Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Defence capability through expert project leadership and client-side delivery. About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager – Defence to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects within the Defence sector. You’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage project lifecycles from design through to commissioning and ensure outcomes that meet client expectations and national standard. This is a senior leadership role where your project management expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and strategic thinking will drive success across high-impact Defence program. Key Responsibilities iesLead project management services across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phas es.Manage client-side engagements under Defence Infrastructure Panel PM/CA contrac ts.Prepare and oversee technical deliverables, business cases, and Defence approvals documentati on.Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a high-performance team cultu re.Liaise with Defence clients, consultants, and delivery partners to ensure project alignme nt.Support proposal development, capture planning, and business development activiti es.Ensure compliance with KBR’s Integrated Management System and Defence governance framewor ks.Monitor project performance across time, budget, and quality metri About the Applicant YouYou’re an experienced project manager with a strong background in Defence infrastructure delivery.
