Love singing with others? Please join us You will be able to choose appropriate songs for our singing group/choir group to learn and there may be times when you all come together and entertain other residents. You dont need any formal training for this role, just the passion and joy of what singing and music can bring to people. You would help enable residents with the same passion to come together and do something they truly love. Through regular ongoing visits, you will establish wonderful new friendships with residents, as well as staff and volunteer team. You will be guided in your role by the site's Therapy team, and Bethanie's Volunteer Services Team also provide ongoing support. Details Category: Seniors & Aged Care Commitment: Regular - more than 6 months Type of Work: Companionship & Social Support, Music & Entertainment Time Required: Days and times can be flexible as the activity can be scheduled around the volunteers availability and existing calendar. Training: Must complete two required courses (online) and complete an onsite Induction prior to start. Be careful - don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
