ROLE IN A NUTSHELL: We’re looking for a Retail Assistant (Part-Time) to join our NEW Armidale store opening mid-August . You’ll join a warm, supportive team passionate about providing a truly unique and genuine shopping experience that makes customers look great and feel fabulous. This position offers the chance to grow with a thriving mature fashion brand that truly values its people and its customers. The three part-time retail assistant positions available include 27.5, 24 & 18 hours on a fortnightly basis. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Creating authentic, warm customer experiences in-store by understanding individual needs and offering tailored style advice Acting as a proud brand ambassador for Black Pepper and the broader Brand Collective family Styling customers to help them look and feel their best, while supporting store sales and KPI targets Assisting in store events such as morning teas and charity initiatives Supporting daily store operations, including visual merchandising, cleaning, admin tasks, and keeping the store and stock room organised Using ladders to retrieve stock from heights (being comfortable doing so is essential) ABOUT YOU: You have a genuine passion for fashion and helping customers feel amazing in what they wear Previous retail or customer service experience in a team-focused environment Comfortable with a casual shift pattern and available to work during peak trade periods Confident using Point of Sale systems, EFTPOS, and Microsoft Office Adaptive selling skills - you tailor your approach to suit each unique customer SOME PERKS WE OFFER: 50% staff discount across Brand Collective brands including Black Pepper, Review, Hush Puppies, Clarks, Julius Marlow and more Training and development opportunities - we’re committed to helping you grow in your role and career Employee Assistance Program - free access to mental health support when needed In-store incentives and recognition A strong sense of community , with charitable events and partnerships including Ovarian Cancer Australia Opportunities for career progression - your growth is our priority READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT?
