As General Manager, People & Culture for our Total Tools & Hardware Group (TTHG), you’ll be the driving force behind our people strategy that unlocks our business transformation. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to shape a culture and people strategy that truly brings our business vision to life. This is your chance to lead game‑changing initiatives, influence business direction, and deliver exceptional People & Culture services in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. What You’ll Do Craft and deliver a People & Culture strategy aligned with transformation goals, leading us into the future Drive business‑wide change, including operating model reviews and integration projects Lead and deliver the people integration of our newly merged businesses Be the thought leader and strategist on workforce & talent strategy, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness Build future leaders and develop our pipeline of great talent using Metcash’s Talent Management approach Be the architect and champion of cultural transformation that embeds purpose and values Elevate leadership capability and learning across the business Ensure smooth delivery of critical P&C services through direct and shared teams, working in strong collaboration with our broader P&C services teams Your Likely a Match If You Have Extensive experience in senior People & Culture leadership roles, ideally within FMCG, retail, hardware, or large‑scale operations, and within a matrix and shared services environment Proven success in strategic P&C partnering and leading significant change Expertise in organisational development, workforce strategy, and cultural transformation Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills Comfortable working in a matrix structure and balancing competing priorities Thrive in fast‑moving environments and embrace ambiguity with confidence What’s On Offer Extra Leave: 5th week of annual leave, 2 well‑being days, plus 1 volunteer day annually Career Growth: Endless learning and development opportunities
