We are seeking to appoint an experienced full-time Patient Services Officer to support the pre-admission and admission process for oncology patients. This is a patient-facing role. Responsibilities Admitting and discharging patients Responding promptly to enquiries and requests General administrative duties and entering patient details to create admissions Creating estimates and completing health fund checks Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have: Strong computer literacy Excellent attention to detail Strong customer service focus Ability to prioritise in a timely and accurate manner Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions according to hospital needs Excellent communication skills Previous experience in health care, medical or health fund industry will be highly advantageous Additional Information / Benefits Salary package up to $15,900 pre-tax annually, leading to greater take-home pay The largest educational scholarship program of its kind in Australia Discounted private health insurance Ability to purchase up to four additional weeks of leave Reduced cost of health services for you and your family at Epworth Relocation assistance is available for approved candidates About Epworth Epworth is committed to inclusion and diversity as essential to its culture and values.
