The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student. We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by : Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies. Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress. Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education. Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement. Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes. Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life. About You We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria : Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW. Has the desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation. Experience and proven record in effective classroom learning and teaching. Advanced understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices. Proven ability to differentiate the learning to meet the needs of all students. A proven capacity to facilitate the integration of ICT in contemporary learning practices. Capacity to work collegially and collaborate within a diverse team. Excellent communication and organisational skills, punctuality and adaptability. The ability to develop positive relationships in the classroom based on mutual respect, patience and understanding.
