Software Engineer CORTO, a cutting‑edge software company dedicated to revolutionizing the legal industry, is looking for a Software Engineer to join its AI and Automation Team. The role focuses on developing APIs that power Corto’s core AI capabilities and building a robust system for ingesting large amounts of data for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Responsibilities Build robust, performant, and scalable APIs. Integrate across multiple APIs. Design and implement technical and design requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with QA to reduce defects and regressions. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Participate in peer code review. Document complex feature designs for easier ongoing maintenance. Qualifications & Skills Strong foundation in software design and development principles. At least 5 years of commercial .NET development experience. Experience with Web API and Entity Framework. Experience with AWS technologies for highly scalable applications (SQS, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB). Experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage. Experience with Python development is an advantage. Experience with Microsoft Graph, Dropbox or Google Drive API is an advantage. Experience with Generative AI based application development is an advantage. Experience with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) components development is an advantage. Desired Attributes Proactive problem‑solving and independent decision making.
