Plumbing Facilities Maintenance - Senior Trade Overseer - 5D Plumbing Facilities Maintenance – Senior Trade Overseer – 5D Wellington Correctional Centre Location – Wellington Facilities Maintenance, Wellington Correctional Centre Employment type – Full Time, Ongoing Salary - $105, 040.00 pa + Incidental Allowance, Superannuation and Leave Loading Your role We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Plumber to work at our Facilities Maintenance Business Unit at the Wellington Correctional Centre. What you’ll do Join an organisation with a rich history where your trade experience is valued. Senior Overseers are trade qualified Correctional Officers with the essential role of supervising, managing and developing inmates and staff in their work‑related activities within a correctional centre. Provide leadership and mentoring to Overseers and supervise and develop inmates through managing, coaching, instructing, and encouraging them, as members of a team, in order that they may improve their work skills, enhance their post‑release employment prospects, and contribute productively to Business Unit objectives. Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate III level in the following): Plumbing or similar related trades and hold a current Fair Trading Plumbing Contractors Licence Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice in accordance with specified CSNSW timeframes Ability and willingness to work across trades as required Must be willing to participate in a cyclic on call roster Willing to work in team environment Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role Download the role description.
