Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation – Broome WA About the Program Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation delivers the Supporting Adolescent Boys Trial – a new initiative supporting young men aged 12 to 18 years who have experienced or been exposed to family domestic or sexual violence, and who may be using or at risk of using violence. Through the trial, we aim to create healing through connection — providing culturally safe, trauma‑informed counselling and support to help young men: Feel heard and valued Understand their emotions and experiences Build respectful relationships Break cycles of harm and create positive futures About the Role We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Counsellor to deliver therapeutic support to adolescent boys in Broome. You’ll provide one‑on‑one counselling, assessments, and tailored therapeutic plans to meet the needs of each participant. You’ll also work closely with program staff, families, schools, and community services to ensure holistic support that promotes healing, safety, and respect. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young men — helping them strengthen their identity, resilience, and sense of belonging.
