These roles are critical in bridging business needs and technology strategy across Novonesis’ global IT. While the core responsibilities are the same, the focus areas and your background differ:* **Position 1****–****Technical Focus:** A candidate with a strong foundation in software engineering and/or infrastructure, able to bridge technology and strategy, and work hands-on inside projects while shaping the bigger picture.* **Position 2****–****Design & Consultancy Focus:** A candidate with a strong foundation in consultancy, solution- and integration-design, business process understanding and strong stakeholder management skillsBoth roles require an enterprise architecture mindset, the ability to understand and manage complex business processes, as well as being able to communicate complex technology concepts clearly to stakeholders, influence solution governance, and ensure alignment between business priorities and technology capabilities.Note that both roles are architecture roles. You will work closely with technical experts and business stakeholders to deliver integrated, high-value solutions. **In this role you****’****ll make an impact by:**While the responsibilities below apply to both roles, the emphasis and projects you will work on, will differ based on your background* Designing and documenting IT solutions aligned with Novonesis’ architecture standards* Leading solution architecture methods and promoting reuse of technology platforms* Designing high-level solutions that handle end-to-end business processes across enterprise solutions* Balancing business needs with technical constraints and strategic objectives* Communicating technology requirements, benefits, and risks to senior stakeholders* Collaborating with Enterprise Architects and senior stakeholders to shape the IT roadmap* Driving compliance with GxP and other regulatory requirements* Managing and maintaining IT landscape documentation* While the responsibilities below apply to both roles, the emphasis will differ based on your background **To succeed you must hold:*** At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect in a complex IT landscape (biotech, pharma, or manufacturing preferred)* For **Position 1 (Technical Focus):** Strong technical foundation in software engineering and/or infrastructure/hardware* For **Position 2 (Design & Consultancy Focus):** Strong expertise in integration architecture, solution design, and project consultancy* Proven experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4, Coupa, Workday, Intelex, Aveeva* Familiarity with key domains supporting business processes, including LIMS, PLM, PIM, DMS, ERP, and CRM* Experience with agile methods and governance frameworks* Experience with GxP and other regulatory compliance and frameworks* Modeling experience in BPMN and Archimate (a strong plus)* Ability to communicate effectively with technical architects and senior business leaders* Full professional proficiency in English* A proactive mindset and strong self-management skills **Location:** Lyngby/Hørsholm, Denmark (Hybrid Remote)**Application deadline:** 11th January 2026**Contact details:** Claus Møller Jensen, Head of Enterprise Architecture, **Then apply today**At Novonesis we commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
