Role Description This is a full-time Occupational Therapist role based in Essendon, VIC, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing for some mobile therapy services. The Occupational Therapist will focus on supporting children, teenagers, adults and families through assessments, goal setting, and developing individualized therapy plans. Responsibilities include implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support. The role also involves fostering strong communication with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every client. Qualifications Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Knowledge of Pediatrics and experience working with children, particularly neurodivergent individuals Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams Understanding of medical and therapeutic concepts relevant to children's health and development Ability to create individualized care plans and implement evidence-based practices A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and ability to travel locally as needed Empathy, adaptability, and a passion for helping children and families thrive Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Health Care Provider #J-18808-Ljbffr
