We offer Permanent Part-Time positions working our fast-paced Ramp Department , in our Baggage Delivery Area or out on the Ramp. What you will be doing Working alongside a great team to meet baggage turn-around times for flight arrivals and departures Load and unload baggage from aircraft containers or luggage dolleys to conveyer belts Keep fit Lifting light to heavy baggage ranging from 5 to 32 kilograms. Use motorized equipment safely and efficiently in line with training provided Use manual, automated or computerised systems Work indoors and outdoors with protective uniforms supplied for all weather types Once skilled in Baggage Room and Airport Operations move to training for an Airside Drivers license – Driving Tugs between baggage room to aircraft This is your role if you: Value your attendance and punctuality Want to work your way up in your career and are ready to learn and follow every step of our safe operating procedures Are a friendly person who likes to work amongst a team We run on flight times so you need to be available 24/7, working 5 rotating shifts a week Have availability to work the minimum part time hours of 24 hours a week and 30 hours or more in other weeks Holds an Australian drivers license (Probationary or Full-License) Safety, security and compliance You will have a responsibility and duty to take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and others at work.
