Location VIC, Keilor East Leisure Centre – Keilor East 3033 Role The Aquatic Operations Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to coordinate the day‑to‑day operations of the facility with the highest regard for safety and high‑quality service delivery. You will lead, coach, and engage a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, prevent hazards, and ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Skills & Attributes Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire others. Excellent verbal communication skills. Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures. Demonstrated experience of plant room management and pool operations is essential. Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificates. Blue Card. Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate. Current Pool Operations Certificate. Applicants with a strong background in pool plant operation and maintenance will be highly regarded. About the Site The Keilor East Leisure Centre includes a 50 m heated outdoor pool, 25 m indoor lap pool, learn‑to‑swim pool, warm‑water programme pool, spa, steam and sauna, and an indoor water playground for young children. There are also multi‑purpose rooms for health and fitness classes, a gym, wellness area, café, family change rooms, and a creche, all with a high level of disability access.
