Responsibilities To supervise the unloading, checking, positioning and reporting of goods into the warehouse via relevant software. Responsible for the pick and packing of material in and out of stores. To supervise and co-ordinate the collection and delivery of goods. To work with relevant Supervisor or Manager in relation to the receiving and dispatching of containers. Assist in preparation of performance appraisals of staff, where applicable. Refer appropriate corrective action to Supervisor or Manager, to prevent recurrence of non-conformances. Document any discrepancies/variances in inwards paperwork. Loading and unloading of containers. Driving forklifts. Manually packing and unpacking containers. Documentation and paperwork. Advise Team Leader/Supervisor or Manager of variances in paperwork. To report any repairs needed to Supervisor or Manager. To ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy and is a safe working environment. Responsible for processing all warehouse and distribution requirements in accordance with the relevant procedures. Responsible for inspecting freight received or dispatched to the consignee/shipper and advise any problems to Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager. Responsible for ensuring all goods are dispatched and delivered in good order on time and in full with all relevant paperwork completed. Responsible for ensuring that the movement of material in and out of the warehouse is controlled and documented. Responsible for identifying and reporting any unsafe work practices. Responsible for taking on other duties as may be specified by Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. Responsible for deal with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Responsible for taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances. Responsible for record internal and external complaints on CCR’s and CAR’s. Responsible for documenting Document Change Requests. Responsible for completing a Skills Inventory and to ensure that all training received is recorded on personal training inventory. Responsible for confining all sourcing to Approved Suppliers, and to review all purchase orders which may be documented and to liaise with the Quality Manager when new suppliers are being considered. Other tasks and responsibilities which may be assigned as and when required by supervisor/manager. About The Job Authority to give appropriate on the job training Authority to liaise with customers with regard to warehousing requirements, where directed by Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. Authority to accept conforming freight and process relevant paperwork. Authority to release conforming freight.
