Qualified Teacher / Trainer – Cert III Aviation (Remote Pilot) National Drones is seeking a passionate, skilled, and adaptable Qualified Teacher/Trainer to deliver the AVI30419 Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) VET in Schools Program across Melbourne, as well as support Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) training for adult and corporate learners. Overview National Drones is seeking a passionate, skilled, and adaptable Qualified Teacher/Trainer to deliver the AVI30419 Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) VET in Schools Program across Melbourne, as well as support Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) training for adult and corporate learners. About the Role This full-time position involves a blend of school-based and external training commencing in January 2026. VET in Schools – AVI30419 Cert III Aviation (Remote Pilot) Deliver engaging, compliant training and assessment in secondary schools across Melbourne. Facilitate theory and practical drone-related activities aligned with qualification requirements. Maintain accurate training records and assessment documentation. Build strong working relationships with schools, coordinators, and students. RePL & AROC Training (Outside VET in Schools Program) Deliver RePL and AROC training to adult and corporate learners. Conduct practical flight sessions and aviation theory training in line with CASA standards. Support National Drones’ broader training operations across Victoria and interstate as required. About You You will be a confident educator with strong aviation knowledge and a genuine passion for both youth and adult learning. Essential Requirements TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) 7kg. Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC). Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle for travel. VIT Registration or the ability to obtain registration. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to travel between Melbourne school sites and interstate as required. Confidence in delivering both classroom-based theory and hands-on flight training. Highly Regarded Bachelor of Education or similar teaching qualification. Experience delivering VET in Schools programs. Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) 25kg Experience in drone operations, aviation training, or CASA-related training delivery. Background in STEM, aviation, or technology education. Why Join National Drones?
