Simon National Carriers have positions available for experienced MC Interstate Linehaul Drivers based out of our Melbourne depot, located in Braeside VIC. Simon National Carriers prides itself a safe working environment and has a strong focus on compliance. All applicants will need to demonstrate their desire and focus to compliance and safety. Our drivers enjoy a great work/life balance with set rosters and are part of a strong team with a great culture. Extensive training will be provided to all successful applicants. Applicants will need to provide a current traffic history report and be prepared to undertake a full pre-employment medical. 2+ years multi-combination experience required. Why work with Simon National Carriers Modern fleet Above-award weekly pay, including driver and travel allowances. Pay is based on a cents per kilometer rate 10 day on / 4 day off roster (permanent full time position) Supportive operations team & provided uniforms Paid loading/unloading, delays, breakdowns, and holdovers Drivers lounge with kitchen and laundry facilities located in each depot Meal provided before departing the depot each night. The Role Operate east coast linehaul routes: Brisbane – Sydney – Melbourne – Brisbane - Adelaide - Townsville Refueling and ensuring cleanliness of allocated fleet Complete daily pre and post trip checks Report mechanical issues, delays, or delivery issues Experienced and able to drive overnight Must be able to start and finish roster from our depot located in Braeside, VIC. What You’ll Need Current MC licence with at least 2 years of interstate experience Nighttime driving experience Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) preferred but can be provided for the right candidate. Strong focus on safety, communication, and reliability Requirements Medical, functional and Drug & Alcohol testing Training and full induction provided A current MC (Multi-Combination) license is required at the time of application. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position. Applicants will need to provide a current traffic history report and be prepared to undertake a full pre-employment medical. 2+ years multi-combination experience required.
