We invite applications from suitably qualified Learning Assistants to join our Enhanced Learning team in our Junior School on a part-time basis (2 days per week) 0.4 FTE. This is a term‑time only position (do not work during school holidays). About You The ideal candidate will engage with students who require support across a range of learning needs and collaborate with teachers to ensure teaching strategies are successfully implemented. Supporting students’ learning needs in an inclusive classroom environment, fostering growth and development to enable our young people to become confident learners and experience progress and success. Responsibilities Promote a warm, positive and nurturing environment while supporting students with their learning. Work flexibly within a large team and with classroom teachers in a professional manner. Build and maintain positive working relationships with students, bringing out the best in them. Qualifications and Expertise A Certificate III in School-based Education Support (Integration Aide) or another appropriate education qualification is desirable. Demonstrable understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Disability Standards for Education 2005. Experience with or interest in supporting students with diverse needs.
