What You'll Need to Apply Food Services Assistants (FSA) Relevant experience in a commercial kitchen or healthcare/aged care environment is highly regarded. A Food Handling Certificate . Understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures. Cooks Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent). 6 months+ experience preparing meals in a commercial kitchen, preferably aged care. Understanding of special diets and textures (e.g., pureed, thickened fluids) specific to aged care. General Requirements for All Roles Current working rights for Australia (please note: sponsorship is not available for these roles). Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Clearance .
