Maintenance Fitter

40 minutes from Melbourne CBD, we are located in Bacchus Marsh, 100% Australian owned, Family operated business producing finest quality Beef and Lamb for more than 50 years. We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join the Maintenance team. About the role This is a full‑time permanent opportunity with a requirement to work on flexible hours (Morning and Afternoon as required). Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role involves: Regular maintenance schedules to improve performance and ongoing improvements Timely response to breakdowns and troubleshooting Perform safety checks on a scheduled basis Demonstrated ability to identify faults through fault‑finding techniques and to troubleshoot and rectify problems Repair and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance Focus on safety and safe working methods Qualifications and Skills Previous experience in meat processing would be an added advantage Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Highly developed time management and multi‑tasking skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Must have current Australian work rights Preferable Technical Skills Medium/strong hydraulic experience (fault finding) Medium/strong pneumatic experience (fault finding) #J-18808-Ljbffr
