As our Strategic Projects Lead you’ll lead innovative projects that shape the future of our city. In this pivotal role you will: Drive strategic change and innovation - initiating and implementing transformative initiatives managing large budgets cross-organisational strategies and high-level negotiations that deliver meaningful outcomes for community and organisation. Lead end-to-end project delivery - ensuring strategic projects are delivered on time within budget and most importantly translate into tangible benefits for communities. Stay responsive and adaptive - ensuring Councils initiatives are agile enough to respond to emerging challenges, evolving community needs and shifting opportunities. Your work will directly contribute to revitalised places, activated precincts and shared community infrastructure that reflects our vision for a sustainable and livable city. About You To thrive in this role you will bring : Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. Strong knowledge of strategic property management investment strategies and placemaking. Skills in spatial and digital planning tools with the ability to translate data into innovative design outcomes. A collaborative values-driven approach with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. About Our Team This role sits within the City Futures Division working in the City Planning & Sustainability Portfolio. Together we are shaping the Citys growth through strategic planning sustainable development and vibrant placemaking initiatives. This versatile portfolio promotes and supports our local businesses and has a dedicated team coordinating the sustainability and environmental strategy of our City. The Detail The position is offered on a 6-month full time fixed-term basis and is classified at Level 7 with a starting salary of $ per annum Super Annual Leave Loading.
