Head of Acquisitions and Disposals

This critical role will involve overseeing all acquisition and disposals, ensuring that our portfolio continues to grow strategically and sustainably. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the real estate market, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record in securing optimal agreements and acquisitions of properties. The role demands a strategic thinker who can analyse market trends and opportunities, develop comprehensive acquisition and disposal strategies, and drive performance through innovative approaches. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans for acquisition and conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and targets Negotiate agreements and purchase contracts to ensure favourable terms and conditions, including all aspects of due diligence Build and maintain relationships with property owners, brokers, and key industry stakeholders Collaborate with internal teams including property, legal, and development to align acquisition and disposal strategies with overall business goals Monitor and analyse market trends, rental rates, and property values to inform decision-making Lead, mentor, and manage the acquisitions & disposals team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation Requirements Minimum 8 years of experience in leasing, acquisitions, disposals or real estate investment Proven track record in negotiating complex agreements, disposal and purchase transactions Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market conditions and financial viability Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements Australia wide This is a dynamic, fast paced and diverse business.
