SAP BTP Technical Architect Location: Sydney, Australia Work Mode: Onsite Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Technical Architect to design, lead, and deliver scalable and secure SAP BTP solutions across enterprise landscapes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining architecture standards, guiding development teams, and enabling integrations between SAP and non‑SAP systems. Key Responsibilities Define end-to-end SAP BTP architecture aligned with business and IT strategy Design and implement solutions using SAP BTP services, including: SAP Integration Suite SAP Extension Suite SAP Work Zone Lead architecture for cloud‑based integrations between SAP and third‑party systems Design secure authentication and authorization using SAP IAS/IPS Establish architecture best practices, standards, and governance Work closely with SAP functional, Basis, middleware, and security teams Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams Support solution design reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting Engage with stakeholders and present architectural decisions clearly Required Skills & Experience 8–12+ years of SAP technical experience Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry & Kyma environments) Deep knowledge of BTP services and account models Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh) CAP (Node.js / Java) Strong understanding of REST, OData, SOAP, RFC, IDocs Cloud & Architecture Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience with microservices and container‑based architectures Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation in SAP landscapes Security & Governance Experience with SAP BTP security concepts (OAuth, SAML, XSUAA) Identity and Access Management using SAP IAS/IPS Understanding of compliance and enterprise security standards Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to lead architecture discussions and guide teams Experience working in large enterprise or consulting environments Nice to Have SAP BTP certifications Experience in multi‑tenant cloud solutions Our core values Integrity, Excellence, Responsibility, Pioneering Spirit, and Unity — shape how we work and how we grow together.
