Assistant Head of Sport – Operations (K–12) Posted 1 day ago About the Role Reporting to the Principal via the Deputy Principal , and working closely with the Head of Sport – Strategy and Performance and Sports Convenors , you will: Lead and coordinate the operational delivery of the school’s sporting programs across K–12. Manage logistics including fixtures, transport, uniforms, venues, and equipment. Oversee team registrations, selections, and competition nominations. Liaise with sporting associations such as IGSA, IPSHA, CGSSSA, CSNSW, and Rowing NSW. Support coaches, umpires, and team managers to ensure professionalism and compliance. Ensure adherence to WHS, risk management, and child protection standards. Oversee sporting carnivals, recognition events, and student participation records. Provide operational support for student engagement, family communication, and community sport initiatives. About You You are an experienced and proactive leader who brings: Strong organisational and operational management skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Experience coordinating sport or co-curricular programs, ideally in an educational setting. An understanding of compliance, WHS, and risk management processes. Ability to lead teams, manage logistics, and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative, professional, and values-driven approach to work.
