About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for a full‑time ENT Registrar to join the Otolaryngology Department, for a fixed‑term role commencing February 2026 for 12 months; a shorter duration may be considered for the right candidate. You will be involved in paediatric otolaryngology and head and neck surgery, including outpatient clinics, operating theatre, and inpatient care, with collaboration across departments. Key Responsibilities Deliver clinical ENT care in inpatient wards, Emergency Department, outpatient clinics, and operating theatres (opportunities for independent operating will be limited). Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate solutions for complex clinical and logistic issues. Participate in the Otolaryngology registrar on‑call roster. Participate in research, audit and quality improvement projects. Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary team/case conferences. Supervise paediatric residents and medical students in the Otolaryngology unit. Your Skills & Experience Demonstrated capacity to work harmoniously and collaboratively within a small team. Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills. Desire to pursue a career pathway in ENT surgery; ideally with prior clinical experience in an ENT unit. Ability to lead by example in providing highest quality clinical care to children and young people respectfully. Other Requirements Current National Criminal Record Check. Valid Working with Children Check. Compliance with RCH’s “Staff Immunisation – Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases” procedure.
