Hydraulic Plumbing Estimator

You'll be driven, self-motivated, successful, and wanting to be rewarded well for the work you do.Being a self-starter and taking initiative to get the right outcome is how you like to operate because you know this is the path to long-term success both in life and in your career.You're motivated, ready to learn, and above all, committed to only accepting the best performance from yourself and your team.Key responsibilities:Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to accurately determine project requirements.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates.Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and understand project scope and challenges.Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure cost-effective solutions.Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals and tender documents.Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes and variations.Provide support in the preparation of project schedules and budgets.Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and other related documentation.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.Strong knowledge of plumbing hydraulic systems and their application in mining operations.Proficiency in estimating software and tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organisational and time management skills.About us:Holdfast Contracting is highly experienced in delivering a wide range of projects throughout the mining, industrial, and commercial sectors.
