Current disciplines include internal medicine, surgery, emergency and critical care, diagnostic imaging, theriogenology, dermatology, anaesthesia and cardiology, with immediate plans to expand our services further. The Position We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at the Stafford. This role focuses on providing outstanding patient care across our hospital teams including in wards, surgery and medicine. Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include Delivering quality nursing care in general wards and specialty areas, ensuring a smooth workflow and superior patient experience Monitoring and assisting with patient care including TPRs, following treatment protocols and medication administration Supporting surgical and emergency teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes Utilising advanced diagnostic and medical equipment in collaboration with the wider hospital team This is a full‑time position with a rotating roster that covers Monday to Friday (6 am–8 pm) and includes rotational weekend shifts. Part time may be considered. Requirements of the Role Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology Minimum of 2 years of post‑qualification experience in Veterinary Nursing Passion for delivering high‑quality patient care with attention to detail Extensive knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and terminology Confidence in anaesthesia recovery and basic monitoring Adaptability and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Proven ability to remain composed and efficient in high‑pressure situations Why Join QVS?
