Your Opportunity Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, Mott MacDonald's Transport team is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Principal Transport Planner for our Brisbane office. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia. With a focus on creating safe and climate resilient infrastructure that benefits the economy, society and the environment, you will have the opportunity to: Manage transport planning projects with a focus on public transport, ensuring outcomes that are sustainable, equitable, and community-focused. Strengthen partnerships with key government organisations, leveraging existing networks to identify new opportunities and support strategic growth. Coordinate cross-disciplinary inputs to diversify our transport portfolio and deliver integrated solutions. Contribute to winning new work by preparing compelling proposals and commercial offers that reflect our technical excellence and delivery capability. Provide thought leadership and connect local expertise with global best practices across the Mott MacDonald network. About You Chartered Engineer with a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in transport planning, with a strong understanding of public transport systems and stakeholder engagement. A collaborative mindset and a passion for inclusive, community-driven outcomes. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire trust and build lasting relationships. A commitment to continuous learning, mentoring others, and contributing to a supportive team culture.
