Hey you genU is seeking a passionate Allied Health Assistant to support our Allied Health team by providing face to face therapy, as per the direction of the Allied Health Professionals. This rewarding position will see you supervising group and one-on-one sessions in various settings; gym, walking groups, hydrotherapy and other specialised programs. Working with a team of friendly individuals this position offers a supportive environment in which you will thrive and build on your allied health career. What you'll do Assist Allied Health staff to ensure high standards of care within program guidelines Support implementation of preventative health programs to promote client independence Prepare for sessions as per the therapist's plan, including creating or adapting resources Keep up to date with program implementation through ongoing education Maintain accurate records, care plans, and statistics per genU's policies What you'll bring Previous experience working with older people and / or people with a disability Proven ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with participants, families / carers and other professionals Sound organisational and administrative ability (You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
