The research associate will be responsible for the production of recombinant proteins, and play a critical role in the discovery/development of novel molecular reagents. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual. Key Responsibilities He/She will be a team member in the production of recombinant proteins, and play a critical role in the discovery/development of novel molecular reagents He/she will be expected to participate in experimental design, conduct experiments, optimize throughput, maintain detailed records, and generate standard operating procedures Design and conduct experiments with limited supervision from Scientists Evaluate data, make observations, troubleshoot, and keep detailed records in laboratory notebook Communicate results and observations to colleagues in team meetings Other duties are assigned Basic Qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or a related discipline, and 1-2 years of biotech/pharma industry experience is preferred Experience with basic molecular biology techniques, required. Experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques, required Experience with transient and stable mammalian protein expression, required Experience with WB and ELISA is preferred Excellent attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal), required The successful candidate should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and contribute to the strategic goals of the company #J-18808-Ljbffr
