This highly technical role will support the end-to-end pricing of our insurance products through data preparation, analysis, modelling, technical review, and presenting insights to management.Position AccountabilitiesTo efficiently and thoroughly complete tasks as directed by senior team members, ensuring due care and minimal mistakes.Understanding sources of data, its limitations and common uses within the team Managing and manipulating very large data sets Conducting technical analysis as directed, including building predictive models Analyse, interpret, and extrapolate data from a number of sources to resolve complex issues Drawing insights and providing recommendations on next steps Explaining work and communicating findings to senior management Performing regular reporting Implement complex rating changes and quantify the expected impact on the portfolio OtherPerform other reasonable and relevant activities as requested occasionally to meet operational requirements Adhere to all pricing policies and procedures Test IT changes and effectively identify potential issues before go-live Follow reasonable directions from leaders to comply with the organisation's workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols. WHS is a shared responsibility.
